Hon'ble Mr. Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel born on July 7, 1953 at Hissar, Haryana. He did his B.A. (Hons.) and LL.B. from the Punjab University, Chandigarh. He was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana on July 16, 1974. He practised before the High Court of Punjab and Haryana for about five years and before the Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court for about 22 years. Designated as Senior Advocate by the Supreme Court on February 11, 1999. He was elevated as Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on July 2, 2001. Appointed as Executive Chairman, Haryana State Legal Services Authority on May 17, 2005. He was the Chief Justice (Acting) of the Punjab and Haryana High Court from May 2, 2011 till he joined as the Senior most Judge of the Gauhati High Court on September 12, 2011. Sworn in as Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court on December 20, 2011. Sworn in as Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court on October 12, 2013 on transfer. Elevated as Judge of Supreme Court and assumed charge on July 7, 2014. Appointed as Chairperson of National Green Tribunal on July 6, 2018.

Justice Devinder Kumar Jain, B.Sc., LL.B. - Born on 25.01.1948. Enrolled as an Advocate on 9.8.1974 and practised in various Courts and Tribunals regularly. Appointed Additional Standing Counsel for the Income-Tax Department from 2.1.1986 and Senior Standing Counsel from 1.9.1987 and handled all types of civil and criminal cases. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court from 19.3.91 and permanent Judge of that High Court from 23.1.92. Justice Jain served in the Supreme Court from April 10, 2006 to January 24, 2013. During his tenure as the Supreme Court judge, he delivered 135 judgments. Following his retirement Justice Jain was appointed the Chairman of the Twentieth Law Commission of India from where he resigned on 5th October 2013 to take over as the President, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission where he served till 30th June 2018. Appointed as Chairperson of Apex Monitoring Committee constituted by National Green Tribunal on 20th August 2018.son of National Green Tribunal on July 6, 2018.
